At the Black Swan Temple, I dedicated myself daily to the stewardship of the land, recognizing that a thriving ecosystem is the foundation of any truly healing space. My impact was rooted in the consistent, hands-on maintenance of the temple’s tropical gardens, where I managed everything from plant starts and pruning to composting. By nurturing these living systems, I helped cultivate a restorative physical environment that complemented the somatic work I led in the studio. Whether I was facilitating hammock yoga for trauma recovery or tending to the gardens, my goal was to ensure that every aspect of the sanctuary—from the soil to the movement sessions—worked together to regulate the nervous system and support deep guest restoration.
